Blog ‘n’ Roll

Knock Knock, Is There an Expert to Outsourcing a Blog? – PART 2

Glad you are back for the second part! Ready to read the main reasons why you DO NOT have to write your own blog posts and why outsourcing a blog is a good idea?

So, let me continue!

Should you construct a car if you are not an engineer? Should you start your own expedition to the North Pole if you never even tried to organize any journey? Should you write a blog post if you are not a writer? Of course, NOT!

Once I had the possibility to talk with a friend of mine who I was helping with a website copy for his agro-business. When we finished with the main pages, he decided to add a blog section for his website. And I told him that my team and I can also help him with his blog posts. He just needs to start outsourcing blog for us.

Here’s how our conversation about blog writing went:

  • “Can you do this? WOW! But isn’t it kind of cheating? I believe that you should have experience in my niche in order to write a blog.”
  • “Bro, it’s up to you, but we can handle any blog post, be it about space invaders, about how to breed rabbits or your agro blog. We are experts 😉 You give us introductory info and details, and we can do the rest.”

He was absolutely surprised that businesses can hire writers to help them with their blogs. And his wonderment helped me realized that many companies do not even know that there are experts who can assist with their blogs.

As you might read in the FIRST PART of my blog, I strongly believe that each expert should do his job. After that conversation with my friend, an idea to write this type of post came up to my mind.

Why expert writers who can handle a website copy, still can’t handle outsource blog writing?

So, when you hire an expert to write your website copy or speech letter writer to help you with your product presentation, it is OK, but when we talk about outsource blog or articles writing – na-na-na, it’s personal, it’s CHEATING!

But let us get back to the realities and daily beings of entrepreneurs or business owners.

Most businesses have a special block of expenses for content creation for their website. They are ready to hire experts for this job because they believe that it requires knowledge in sales to mentally force customers to buy products or services using landing pages. Others think that a writer should have specific skills for an informative website copy to convert visitors to leads.

STOP, but why do they still believe that blog posts can easily be written by anyone?

Partially true. Everyone who has at least intermediate skills in English can physically write a blog. With modern technologies, it’s getting easier and easier each time for a person to write. Even your smartphone can now help you with grammar and assist you with punctuation.

Sounds easy, especially if I can write a post for Instagram or share my experience of attending a restaurant together with WOW-pictures on my own. But what about a business blog?

Should I outsource blog writing?

If you want your content to speak with your audience, with your loyal or potential customers. If you want this content to move forward leads to sales. I believe this is where the expertise required. And that’s why its time outsourcing your blog to professionals.

You should outsource your blog

Your blog has the same importance as your landing pages, website content, social media posts and even emails sent.

If I hire a writer for my blog, it won’t be authentic and will lack niche knowledge.

This is a common mistake by businesses or people who hire content writers for their website copy but afraid to ask for assistance with blog and articles writing. So, you think that it is okay to hire a writer to write a “general copy” for a website? Do you really believe that sales copy doesn’t require to be authentic?

I can surely say and suggest that if you feel like your website copy is not authentic to your business voice, you better change your content writers from now on. Like people are being greeted by clothes, all the website content is the face and clothes of your business. It’s a question of a first impression that is crucial for your potential customers.

The same thing is with a blog. It should be the same authentic as your other website copy. Your blog should not only describe general information about business life and share the latest news but educate and help your customers. Finally – not forgetting to bring new leads.

I’m a big fan of inbound marketing. Good content marketing strategy is crucial on any stage of your business processes, be it attraction, engage, or/and delight stage.

You can use your blog to educate customers on the attraction stage when they do not even know that they need you. You can help them understand that you can be a solution to their problems.

Also, you can suggest some better options for your potential customers using your blog on the engagement stage. The stage when your potential customers already know that your services or product can be helpful and searching for the best possible option between you and your competitors.

Furthermore, the delight stage is also here! Your blog posts can even be used in order to delight your existing customers after purchase by sharing some delightful content for existing loyal clients.

If we talk about the process of work my team and I have with all our customers, we believe in mutual help. Someone can say, I came here for YOUR assistance, what do you mean by MUTUAL

How do we work?

We believe that without help from customers, we won’t be able to provide them with an appropriate final draft. Our clients need to help us by guiding us using a detailed task for their blog or article writing. They can share some previous examples of their work. Or, if they do not have any prior works and just searching for their personal business voice, they can share links to some articles with the style they are searching for. Any information that will help us to personalize the content is essential.

Also, there should be an understanding between customer and us, because we work WITH customers, not FOR customers. I believe this is a crucial part of mutual assistance.

Some people believe it’s too expensive to work with blog writers.

This is my favorite part. Let’s face the truth, TOO EXPENSIVE is an extremely relative and vague phrase.

I believe that we can’t just count the price for each blog by hourly rates. Firstly, because each task is custom. Let us look from the business’ side. What will the customer expect from his blog?

Of course, he or she is waiting for the return of investments, and it’s absolutely understandable. Furthermore, if we talk about small and medium businesses where the owner might be writing a blog, by hiring an expert for this task, the owner will save his priceless time. Yes, there are some great examples of famous business owners who write astonishing content, for example, Seth Godin or Tim Ferris, but let’s be honest, there are less of them 😉

Well written piece for a blog can be done within several hours or even within several days when it comes to articles that require additional research and expertise.

Now think about how you would like to spend this free time if you gave this part of work to experts? Would you like to create some new product or service, to expand your business, or simply spend this time with your lovely once? It’s up to you to choose.

If you outsource your blog you will get a good written piece of content

We had a chance to work with an amazing woman, she is a world-known athlete and personal coach. She spends at least 6-8 hours to write one blog post on her personal website. When we finished with her first blog post with all the final revisions and so on, she told us that by working with us, she was able to not only save money but to earn more. She spent these 6 hours working with her customers by providing private workout sessions and that brought her more money than the cost of one blog post.

Shout out to Mrs. V!

Now she is our regular customer, and we have completed around 20-25 blog posts for her personal blog while she’s doing her lovely job. Unfortunately, I can’t share her full name, as we agreed on 100% confidentiality, but she will understand that I’m talking about her 😉

Therefore, I would suggest you ask one simple question – How much is your time worth? But, please be as honest with yourself as much as possible. Answered? And now, is it still “too expensive” to work with expert blog writers?

If you still think you SHOULD have written your blog on your own – just do it!

!!!I’M JOKING 😉

If you think you should, the sad reality is that you’ll never start.

“I should go to the gym tomorrow, on Monday, next week, month”…, maybe even YEAR?!? Sounds familiar? Does it?

“Should” – what a harsh word… It’s a verb without any implemented action.

Should have, could have, don’t matter!

Why do you think you should do it on your own? Did someone ask you to? Your boss? Your wife or husband? Your soul? – if the answer for all these questions is NO – I strongly believe it’s just the voice of your EGO. I know it from my personal experience. I’m also a fan of doing everything on my own, but there is some work you CAN leave to experts, and business blog writing is on the list.

As you might read from my previous blog, I have experience working with many different businesses and customers. Some of them are small local businesses, some others are world-famous. I can surely say that if you have some business gurus or coaches, or follow your niche expert, they might also use expert assistance with content for their blog. Maybe even our help… No, we as writing experts do not do their job, they generate the content. Mostly they are responsible for generating ideas, but I guarantee that most of them or even all are using third party writing assistance.

Outsource your blog to the real creators

Most of the politicians do not write their speeches, famous actors do not write scripts for their movies and the same thing with businesses – they can use expert writing help. And as an expert, combining good content with an excellent high scraper is important to me.

Now I hope you realized that it is absolutely normal to ask for professional assistance and outsourcing a blog. It’s totally OK to spend your time for some crucial things, then to write a blog on your own, even in case you like to write, but you do not have enough time, it’s also okay to work with professionals who can help and guide you using a specific writing flow that will be absolutely up to your choice.

Knock Knock, Is There an Expert I Can Talk To? – PART 1

Hi. If you are looking for an expert, or just wondering if you need expert assistance, you have come to the right place. And you know that, of course. Or else, why would you be here?

To make things interesting for you, I have split this section into two parts. The second part can be found here.

Like a good film which gives you an interval before the second part begins. In this part, I will be talking about why you should be hiring experts to do your job.

In my case, I’ll be talking about experts in the writing industry. In this first part, I will tell you all more about myself and some general ideas. The second part will be on my thoughts where I will give you more insights and prove that each work requires to be done by an expert.

So, should we listen to experts?

Taking an expert’s opinion is important. Of course, sometimes the person you talk to in your long showers or during daydreaming can be tired as well. So, why not reach out to someone new?

Life is like a prolonged lecture at school. You go in everyday; you meet new people; you learn new experiences and there is always a teacher who will guide you regarding the subject.

This teacher has the right command over the topic. They make sure you grasp the entire knowledge within a certain course of time. They create a learning environment for you, and everyone else. They are there to help you.

Taking advice from experts is always recommended.

Why? Well, because they are called experts for a reason. They have the required knowledge over the subject, they are available to help you and you need to learn lessons before practically implementing it.

Of course, there will be some agreements and disagreements. You may find yourself not agreeing with the expert, but that does not mean they are wrong, does it?

Before I get into more details, let me first tell you guys a little about myself. You know, just a way to be candid with you all and letting you know who I am because everyone has a story to tell, and from the stories of others, we can always learn.

My name is Vasyl Kafidov, people also know me as Vasy Kafidoff.

I love calling myself a creator. This is because of how my life shaped me. I feel lucky because I had a chance to find the work of my life partially by accident.

I remember using the internet only for playing games or surfing the web before this very event. A friend of mine introduced me to what we commonly refer to as ‘online content writing’. He mentioned that “this is the future. Start learning about it today”. And I did. I was only 18 years old then.

When I started my writing life?

At the age of 18, I started working in the writing field. I looked after different freelance writers that could catch the main idea of a customer and write down almost any type of content. And the most important and unbelievable thing for me was that they can do it from scratch, using only their personal experience and imagination. As I get used that most people just search for someone else’s ideas and copy/paste them and to use under their personal names.

During months of work, I found many interesting things and techniques in the copywriting field and realized how things work.

I had no idea what SEO is. I had no idea what keywords are. I was fresh out of school and just attended university. As a student, money is never enough.

Still, I decided to help to establish a writing business for my friends during my free time. It was not about money, but about new experience and practice. While gaining new experience and being a momentous person in the team were my sole reasons for working, little did I know that in the future I would make it my livelihood.

Was I born to write? Am I Messi” of writing?

Now I am not saying that I was born into this field. Nope, nope and certainly nope. I remember there were times I had questioned my own English language skills because of the mistakes I was making. I mean, cut me some slack, I was only 18. But even then, before joining the profession, I felt I was good.

But wait till you, as an advanced English speaker hears from an international client, “I thought English was your first language.” Oh boy, that hurt!

Be merciful. I was an 18 years boy from Kyiv, Ukraine. English did not come to me as my native language. But I’m working hard and believe my strong attitude is increasing my skills daily. Yes, I’m a SUPER humble person. Not an excuse to forgot my school education and several summers spent in the UK, but you know, things can get rusty. Either way, my rejections due to poor writing skills contributed massively to who I am today. You know, how actors start from doing low-rating movies and then struggle their way to the top? That was me. But in the field of digital content, though.

vasy kafidoff is a master of law

Then, I spent 6 years learning law and legislation to finally get an exalted status – Master in Law.

Meanwhile, I was working with my friends, we were running several online writing services. I was responsible for managing and running one of the projects, but during the working process, I was able to learn a lot about writing in general from different writers we were working with.

This part of my life helped me to understand the importance of each word and punctuation in any sentence.

Let me give you a famous example:

“A woman without her man is nothing”.

Everyone will read this sentence the way they want. But, according to the research made by an American prof:

  • most of the men read this sentence as “A woman, without her man, is nothing.”
  • when most of the women read this as “A woman: without her, man is nothing.”

So, punctuation IS powerful!

Curriculum activities that led to creativity.

Another vital part of my uni studies led to my creativity. As some of you might know, a good lawyer is a creative lawyer. I’ve written many essays, case studies, and research papers that required creativity and critical thinking. Sometimes I needed to make a 1000 or even 2000 words paper from only 100 words skeleton.

MISSION IMPOSSIBLE? I believe that everything is possible. Sometimes I also helped my mates when they stocked with their writings.

One more significant thing I forgot to tell you following the main theme of this article – an expert help.

Huge-huge sorry to my professors. Yes, I was using a third party help from academic writers, when I wasn’t able to handle all of my hard tasks within a short timeframe. And I’m not ashamed of it. Maybe that led me to work in an academic writing business today, but this is another story.

I can talk about this part of my life hours and hours, but you came here to read about experts and their importance in our daily beings.

So, the question here: Is it OK to ask an expert’s opinion?

My answer would always be a big YEEEEES. That is not because I would want you to come to me. It is only because you need guidance… you deserve to be guided.

There is no specific recipe to become an expert. It’s a question of your knowledge and experience that leads to expertise in some specific field.

expert secrets | recipe to become an expert

According to the research completed by The National Academies of Sciences Engineering Medicine – people who have developed expertise in particular areas are, by definition, able to think effectively about problems in those areas.

Several key principles of experts’ knowledge and their potential implications for learning and instruction:

  1. Experts notice features and meaningful patterns of information that are not noticed by novices.
  2. Experts have acquired a great deal of content knowledge that is organized in ways that reflect a deep understanding of their subject matter.
  3. Experts’ knowledge cannot be reduced to sets of isolated facts or propositions but, instead, reflects contexts of applicability: that is, the knowledge is “conditionalized” on a set of circumstances.
  4. Experts are able to flexibly retrieve important aspects of their knowledge with little attentional effort.
  5. Though experts know their disciplines thoroughly, this does not guarantee that they are able to teach others.
  6. Experts have varying levels of flexibility in their approach to new situations.

So why don’t we just leave problem solving to experts?

Some writers or bloggers are embarrassed to admit that they are often asking for professional assistance from expert editors. But it’s NOT my case. I’m proud I’m using their help.

!Trust me, there are no experts on the planet, who do everything on their own.

EVEN this text you are reading now was double-checked by my editorial team. Because I’m sure that they know their job, and they will do it way better than I can do it myself, or, at least, faster 😉

Why do I need an expert in writing if I can write on my own?

Let us imagine the situation. You have trouble with your bathroom, the floor is full of water and you do not know what to do to stop the water running from the bath?

Won’t you call an expert plumber to get help from? Will you try to fix all on your own? I bet some of you will try and some of you will even succeed, but how much time will you spend?

My personal question remains the same:

Why not call experts and help others to use their knowledge and expertise?

An expert will not only share knowledge on the subject but wisdom as well. They will make you understand the thought process behind your actions.

For instance, when I was starting my writing life, getting all the rejections, my expert told me to start revising all the basics and work like I am a child going to the school for my middle school learning. You know when you learn your basic grammar skills.

My expert told me to let go of viewing myself as a failure and just focus on what is in front of me. The future. And I did that. Now I am able to write and share my ideas with you, friends.

Im in the online writing niche for the last 9 years now.

As you might understand from the previous parts, I have experience working with different groups of writers and customers and they taught me a lot.

I had great times and callous times. Throughout the working process, I liked watching how writers love crafting excellent and meaningful content that will be suitable for the customer.

Thanks to these years, now I have my own team of expert writers who can handle almost any type of content. We are all mostly different. And I believe this makes us stronger when we face some challenging tasks. Because each person in the team can share ideas and proposals on how we can solve the situation. This makes us feel like we are ascending a new mountain.

Asking for advice does not make you less!

Asking for advice does not make you less. In fact, it makes you a bigger person. A person who is willing to become a better version of themselves. A person who admits they require some assistance. A person who cares about him or herself.

Today, my team and I have numerous big brands and names under our umbrella. We have helped several businesses reshape themselves. We have helped them redefined themselves and capitalized their businesses through digital strategies. We helped and continue helping and assisting students all over the world for their academic woes.

Team of expert writers - Writing Metier

We are always there to offer writing help and assistance. And that is only because I know what failure is, and I also know how important it is to have someone assist you through your tough times.

Why I have told you my backstory if we talk about experts and expert assistance?

The purpose of narrating a part of my life here is to help you understand that I would have not done this on my own. I needed MY EXPERTS, I need their assistance. I had to fail to learn from my failure. But at the same time, I was not alone. That is the biggest comfort of my life.

Having all of this said, if you ever require assistance in your life, be it regarding the work that we do or something else, we are always here for you. You are now our family and we will make sure that you get everything you are looking for.

To be continued…

In the second part of this blog, you will find more directions on why you should ask for an expert writing assistance for your business or personal blog.

I hope you enjoyed reading this as much as I enjoyed sharing it with you guys.

Have fun in life, enjoy your time here while you can, and of course, reach out to experts to make your life easier and simpler. It surely is a blessing you do not want to miss.
